- Commodity: Electronics 1. Add the following: Local Clause FPI 100H1 Economic Price Adjustment Twelve (12) months after contract award date, and every Twelve (12) months thereafter, contract prices for items listed in the schedule under Section B, may be adjusted in accordance with the Producer Price Index for Line Item one(1) P/N 5920012926688. The base price at the time of award of contract may fluctuate upward or downward according with price adjustment proportionate increases or decreases as a result of the market survey. It is the contractors responsibility to request this upward or downward adjustment. Adjustment may be requested for a period of 30 calendar days after eligible adjustment date. Requests that are made after 30 days limit will not be honored and the contract pricing will remain unchanged; provided the adjustment is not a decrease. All downward price adjustments will be retroactive to the authorized adjustment data as specified in this clause. If the downward price adjustments are not requested and this is later revealed through audits or otherwise, the contractor shall reimburse the government and the amount overcharged plus interest. Interest will be computed at the rate set annually by the Secretary of the Treasury for late contract payment. Interest will be accrued from the date of adjustment should have been made. The Contractor shall submit any request for adjustment in writing to the contracting officer. Request should include a copy of the relevant consumer price index and must be within the allowed time period for adjustment. The date the completed request is received by the contracting officer will be effective, date of any changes in price. In computing any contract price adjustment, a comparison of same or similar work being performed will be compared with the market survey data collected by UNICOR, as of the date of adjustment. The total upward adjustment ceiling limitation for the duration of the contract is 10%. 2. Request for final offers are due Friday, March 2, 2001, 2:00PM EST. 3. This amendment must be signed and returned by the due date. 4. As provided herein, all other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
