Description

This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-01-Q-2678. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-17. This is 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS Code is 334111;size standard is 1000 employees. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items:Item 0001: Adapter Mod., PMC ABCH to uyk-7 (M81511) low profile, p/n AM-SPO18-01, Qty (60). Item 0002: Transition Cable 120 pin for PMC/cPCI 3 1/2ft w/right angle connector, p/n CA-SP120-03, Qty (60).Required delivery is six (6) weeks after award, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. It is expected to place a purchase order with Sabtech Industries, 23231 Lapalma Ave., Yorba Linda, CA 92887-4768. They are the only known source for these items because they are the manufacturer of this custom built adapter mod and transition cable. All other timely offers will be considered, however. Offers for other products must contain complete product information and prices. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items applies. Evaluation will be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items. Evaluation factors are technical capability, price and past performance. Each is equally important.
