Description

The US Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) proposes to acquire 2KW 60 Hertz (HZ) Alternating Current (AC) and 2KW 28 Volt Direct Current (VDC) Military Tactical Generator (MTG) Sets. This acquisition will result in a Ten (10) Year Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery type contract with Delivery Orders issued on a Firm Fixed Price basis. The method of acqusition will be competitive negotiated and the basis of award will be Best Value. This acquisiton will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, utilizing existing Government product drawings, a Statement of Work, and a Purchase Description which describes the performance characteristics of the 2KW Generators and the methods used to test and verify those performance characteristics. The U.S. ARMY Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) has established a Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) website as part of the Army's Single Face to Industry to allow electronic postings of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitation for Bids (IFBs) from CECOM to industry. All parties interested in doing business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the IBOP at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil/. You may access potential CECOM Business Opportunities by simply selecting "CECOM Comm. & Elec. Com." under the heading "View by Contracting Activity" and then click on "GO". Registration for a user ID and password will only be necessary when you are considering the submission of proposals to CECOM through the IBOP. To be a registered user of the IBOP, please click on "Industry Registration" under the heading "Secure Services". For CD-ROM drawings or other data, contact the identified Contracting Officer via their e-mail. Offers and Bids shall be submitted as specified in the solicitation. No bids shall be submitted directly to the Contracting Officer. The Solicitation will be posted on or about late March 2001. Receipt of proposal will be due on or about forty five (45) days from solicitation posting.
