Description

Wire, Conduit, Fittings, and Power Pedestals. The Contractor shall furnish and deliver the following electrical supplies to the Morehead Ranger District of the Daniel Boone National Forest located in Rowan County, Kentucky. The materials shall include the following: 1) #4 Wire (Black), 7,000 Feet; 2) #3 Wire (Black), 4000 Feet; 3) #2 Wire (Black), 7,500 Feet; 4) #1 Wire (Black), 11,000 Feet; 5) #6 Wire (Green), 3,500 Feet; 6) #4 Wire (Green), 7,500 Feet; 7) 1.25 inch Schedule 40 Conduit, 3,500 Feet; 8) 1.5 inch Schedule 40 Conduit, 6,000 Feet; 9) 1.25 inch Schedule 80 Conduit, 200 Feet; 10) 1.5 inch Schedule 80 Conduit, 200 Feet; 11) 1.25 inch 90 Degree Elbows, 25 Each; 12) 1.5 inch 90 Degree Elbows, 25 Each; 13) 1.25 inch Male Adapters, 25 Each; 14) 1.5 inch Male Adapters, 25 Each; 15) 1.25 inch Couplings, 50 Each; 16) 1.5 inch Couplings, 50 Each; and 17) Underground Feed, Recreational Vehicle (RV) Power Panels by Mid-West Electrical Products, Inc. U075CP6010, Unmetered Pedestal Type, 120-140 Volts, 23 Each (This item is specified to conform to existing RV power panels in the recreation area where these items will be installed). All items listed shall be delivered to the Morehead Ranger District Work Center Building located at 2375 KY Highway 801 South, Morehead, Kentucky. Wire and cable shall comply with current UL standards, where applicable and unless otherwise specified, shall be annealed copper and stranded. All wire shall be for installation in underground conduit and wet locations and insulation shall be type TW, THW, THWN, or THHN, if approved for such applications. Conduit shall be rigid, non-metallic, Schedule 40 and 80 PVC, UL listed for direct burial. Fittings shall be appropriate for the listed conduit. Approximate price range is less than $50,000. These items will be solicited using the Request for Quotations format. This procurement is set-aside for small business concerns in NAICS Code 421610 with a size standard of 500 employees.
