Description
This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for the following spectrometers: 1. 2 m high resolution spectrometer: Acton Model AM-512, or equal F-number = f/17.4, Grating mounting = turret with single grating snap-in, Single grating = 110 x 110 mm, 2400 grooves/mm, holographic blaze, Dispersion = 0.417 nm/mm, Resolution = 0.007 nm @ 1200 g/mm, Throughput = 0.85 x grating efficiency (e.g., 0.7 max. for 500 nm blaze) for camera, 0.78 for slit, Accuracy = 10.1 nm, Repeatability = 10.005 nm, IEEE and RS232 connections for computer control of grating, Spectra Drive Unit (16 key control-connects by cable) for grating control IN slit: 14 mm x 10 mm to 3 mm, OUT slit: same as in (manual slit control), Extra Exit Port: by default, 1 extra exit port means a camera port in the straight-through position (beside the IN port), and we specify the camera (PI-MAX) to get compatible flange. The second port will then be the Exit slit at 900, accessible with diverting mirror, Input voltage = 120 Vac, Housing material = metal, Quantity: (1) each. 2. Low Resolution Imaging Spectrometer, Acton SpectrPro 300i, or equal, Focal length = 300 mm. F-number = f/4, Three grating turret: 300 g/mm, 500 nm blaze, 600 g/mm, 500 nm blaze; 1200 g/mm, 750 nm blaze, Resolution: 0.1 nm at 435.8 nm (10 mm slits) Dispersion: 2.7 nm/mm, Accuracy: 10.2 nm, Repeatability: 10.05 nm IN slit and OUT slit, each: 14 mm x 10 mm to 3 mm (automatic control), Exit port: CCD port, Port selection: diverter mirror (manual), IEEE and RS232 connections for computer control of gratings and IN slit Spectra Drive Unit (16 key control-connects by cable) for grating control, Throughput = 0.78 4 grating efficiency, Input voltage = 120 Vac, Housing material = metal, Quantity: (1) each 3. 1 m VUV normal incidence spectrometer, Acton Model VM-521-SG, or equal, Operating range: 30 to 325 nm, Focal length = 1 m F-number = f/10.4, Grating mounting = turret with dual grating with snap-in, Gratings = concave gratings, 2400 g/mm, 600 g/mm (80nm blaze), Dispersion: 830 pm/mm, Resolution: 7 pm @ 1200 g/mm Accuracy = 10.05 nm, Repeatability = 10.005 nm IEEE and RS232 connections for computer control of grating Spectra Drive Unit (16 key control-connects by cable) for grating control, IN slit: 20 mm maximum 4 10 mm to 3 mm. OUT slit same. (manual slit control), IN slit assemble terminates in 2.75" CF flange for connection to window or chamber, CF flange on spectrometer for evacuation, Detector = 50 mm Photomultiplier for operation 30 to 600 nm, includes housing mounted at exit port Input voltage = 120 Vac, Housing material = metal, Quantity: (1) each. 4. Grazing incidence 1.5 m Xray spectrometer, Acton Model GIMS-551.5, or equal, F-number = f/50, Focal length = 1.5 m Operating range = 0.5 nm (2480 eV) to 180 nm (6.888 eV) Grating mounting: Rowland circle grating Grating = (Rowland circle) grazing incidence mounting, 1.5 m radius concave grating, 1200 g/mm, Resolution = 0.015 nm Dispersion = 0.033 nm / mm, Accuracy = 10.05 nm Repeatability = 10.005 nm, Spectra Drive Unit (16 key control-connects by cable) for grating control Control interface = RS 232 and IEEE-488 IN slit: 20 mm maximum 4 10 mm to 3 mm. OUT slit same. (manual slit control), Exit port: detector adapter flange Detector = General purpose X-ray detector for operation 0.5 to 180 nm, includes housing mounted at exit port, Input voltage = 120 Vax Housing material = metal, Quantity: (1) each.
