Description

The Personal Property Management Branch (PPMB), Program Support Center (PSC) is seeking information in the form of a capability statement from all interested parties for a potential project of refinishing and reupholster furniture. The contractor would be responsible for performing minor repairs to wood surfaces, stripping, sanding, and staining desks, tables, chairs, telephone stands, etc. Please include with your submission to the Program Support Center a listing of fabrics, finishes, hardware, locks, etc. used. This can include samples and catalogs. A detailed pricing list for each service shall be provided. Organizations should demonstrate the capability to administer and coordinate the tasks of picking up, refinishing furniture, and returning it in a timely manner to the Personal Property Facility in Gaithersburg, MD. Documentation may include, but not be limited to contracts, both government and commercial that the organization has performed, references, i.e., names, titles, telephone numbers and any other information which would serve to document the organizations capability, e.g. awards, commendations, etc. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal. The Government does not intend to pay for the information solicited and will not recognize any costs associated with submission of information. Any propriertary information should be so marked.
