This proposed contract action is for supplies which the Government does not have specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition, requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the parts, or requires the use of master or coordinated tooling. Only approved source is BF Goodrich. The time required for approval of a new supplier is such that award and delivery cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation, however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award.
