Description

The Naval Research Laboratory intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competitive basis with Coherent, Inc., 5100 Patrick Henry Drive P56, Santa Clara, CA 95054 for a Titanium:sapphire/dye (Ti:dye) laser and Optics, Laser Wavelength Meter, and Laser Spectrum Analyzer and for the upgrade of a pre-existing Argon ion laser. Coherent, Inc., is the only known source capable of providing the upgrade of a pre-existing Argon ion laser in addition to the Titanium:sapphire/dye (Ti:dye) laser and Optics, Laser Wavelength Meter, and Laser Spectrum Analyzer, that would successfully with out fail integrate to the existing lasers at the Naval Research Laboratory. This is essential to the performance of this effort. Note 22 is modified to read: Responses to this notice of intent to negotiate with Coherent, Inc. should be submitted no later than 15 days from the date of this synopsis to the Contracting Officer, Code 3230.MM, Bldg. 222, Rm. 115A, Naval Research Laboratory, 4555 Overlook Ave., SW, Washington, DC 20375-5326.
