Description

The Government intends to solicit an Invitation For Bid (IFB) and award a Firm Fixed Price contract for the following: 1. Eighteen (18) Signal Scanners, NSN 5985-01-444-5370, IAW Part Number A3194584, TD-1104A/GSC, with a 100% option; 2. Refurbish and upgrade eight prior model TD-1104/GSC Signal Scanners, NSN 5985-00-256-6317, Part Number SM-D-571938 to current model TD-1104A/GSC Signal Scanner, NSN 5985-01-044-5370, Part Number A3194584, IAW the requirements found in the Statement of Work (SOW), with a 100% option; 3. Two (2) Commercial Repair Manual, IAW the SOW. The Signal Scanners are part of AN/FSC-78B(V), 79A(V), AN/GSC-39B(V), 52(V), and 52A(V). This IFB will be open to Large and Small Companies. Delivery to New Cumberland, PA. Delivery of the 18 Signal Scanners shall begin 180 days after contract award. Packaging IAW ASTMD-3951-98, Commercial. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to be registered in the Centeral Contractor Register (CCR) to receive contract award or payment. The Government intends to release the IFB on or around 16 March 2001 on the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) Interagency Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) web-site (hhtp://abop.monmouth.army.mil). All parties interested in doing business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the IBOP. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for release of the solicitation and any subsequent amendments or information. A CD-ROM with associated drawings may be requested from the Contract Specialist in writing once the solicitation has been posted to the IBOP. Bids shall be submitted in hard copy at the time and place specified in the solicitation. Draft SOW can be found on the IBOP. See numbered Note 26.
