Description

This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-00-Q-2717. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-17. This is 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS Code is 334419; size standard is 500 employees. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items: A Data Recorder consisting of the following: ONE(1) RX2-MDR-1/DC Fibre Channel RAID/JBOD Controller forRACE++,RACEway & MC/OS. (Consists of M1200RX-128 w/one VMFC-2100-DC PMC. SW run-time licenses incl.) ONE(1) RX2-MDR Project License and binary code of MC/OS API/Library and MIDAS++ FW. (Incl. doc. and code on tape or CD-ROM. To be purchased one per project. ONE(1) MDR Host Software. (Contains MDR Shell and API for SUN PCI / Solaris 2.x and PC PCI / Windows NT host Workstations. FC Host supported. Project License. ) ONE(1) Fibre Channel PCI module -- Dual Copper Interface w/hub TWO (2) 5 m 8 Pin HSSDC to 9 Pin D Plug FC Copper Cable ONE(1) JMR FR10-F21-2S 19" Fibre channel JBOD cabinet for 10 disks. 2 power supplies. EIGHT (8) -- Seagate 18.2GB Cheetah ST318304FC 10,000 rpm Low Profile with 4mb cache. Required delivery is 120 days after award, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. It is expected to place a purchase order with VMETRO, INC.
