Description

This synopsis revises the preliminary notice of the Government's intent to contract with firms or teams of firms having the requisite design and integration expertise to develop revolutionary design concepts for an enhanced combat uniform (Scorpion). The original synopsis was posted on 23 January 2001. Interested parties are advised that concept papers under the Natick Broad Agency Announcement are due to Cheryl Stewardson (email: Cheryl.stewardson@natick.army.mil, phone 508-233-5427, fax 508-233-4483) on 30 March 2001. The Government shall evaluate all concept papers submitted and provide a written response to the contractor by about 13 April 2001. The FY01 Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) should be posted to the Natick Acquisition Center web site in late March 2001. In the event that the FY01 BAA is not available, concept papers may be submitted on the FY 00 BAA, which may be accessed and downloaded from '<http://www3.natick.army.mil/>;' (Topic 6A in the FY00 BAA. Topic number and POC will change in the FY01 BAA).
