Description

This procurement is being advertised under SIC Code 5074. The Contractor shall design and furnish all materials, equipment, labor, and liability necessary to install a completely operational and fully functional Armstrong 8120-DW Floritemp instantaneous steam hot water heater with recirculating valve, traps, and vent. Installation shall be in accordance with the attached conceptual drawings and these specifications for the installation of a steam operated, high capacity, on-demand, instantaneous hot water heater, to be located in the steam tunnel's steam reduction room at the United States Penitentiary, Lompoc, California (henceforth referred to as "owner"). The contractor shall design and furnish all material, equipment, labor, and liability necessary for the installation of an instantaneous hot water heater. With documentation of parts, materials, and testing of equipment to ensure full warranty on all parts and labor associated with this installation. All work codes, laws, and regulations, including, but not limited to, the Uniform Building Code (UBC), the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC), the Uniform Mechanical Code (UMC) the National Fire Protection Association, and Seismic Zone 4 Requirements.
