Description

Notice of Intent. The U. S. Customs Service (USCS) intends to solicit and award an order to Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), 16701 West Bernardo Drive, San Diego, CA 92127, for site preparation, delivery and installation services for Rail Vehicle and Cargo Imaging Systems(RVACIS)purchased under GSA Schedule contract GS-07F-0210J from SAIC. The requirement will be processed under the authority of 41 USC 253(c)(1), only one responsible source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. SAIC is the supplier of the RVACIS equipment, which is proprietary to SAIC, and they have an exclusive warranty that would be voided if another vendor were allowed to provide the above services. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No telephone requests. See numbered Note 22.
