Multi-INT Tasking, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TPED) Systems (MITS)NOTICE OF PRE-SOLICITATION CONFERENCE. This announcement serves as notice to all potential offerors that, on 12 March 2001, the Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR) Integration System Program Office (SPO), Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts will be conducting a Pre-Solicitation Conference for the DCGS Integration Support Contract (DISC). The overall objective of the DISC program is to provide contractor integration engineering support to the Government in the activation and integration of new Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) sites, capabilities, and technology upgrades. DCGS is currently comprised of "stove piped", proprietary, legacy, platform-based tasking, processing, exploitation and dissemination (TPED) ground systems. The Government's goal is to evolve the current configuration into a seamless distributed "system-of-systems" architecture that satisfies operational/warfighter requirements and meets current and evolving standards, architectures and directives while having a minimal impact on ongoing intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance operations. The Government is seeking a qualified contractor to support development and fielding of the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) through the DCGS Integration and Activation Team (DIAT) process. The purpose of the Pre-Solicitation Conference is to explain the Government's evaluation criteria in the solicitation. The conference will be held on 12 March 2001 in the ESC Conference Center, Bldg 1106, 29 Randolph Rd, Hanscom AFB, MA, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. All interested parties planning to attend are requested to notify Lt Presnell via e-mail at charise.presnell@hanscom.af.mil no later than 9 March 2001, 4:30 PM (Eastern time), with the name, e-mail address, phone number, and company affiliation of the attendee(s).
