Description

This solicitation provides for armed and unarmed uniformed security guard services (SIC 7381; NAICS 561612) at GSA-controlled and GSA-supported facilities located in (approximately) the southern half of Ohio. This solicitation is a national set aside for competitive award through the U.S. Small Business Administration's 8(a) program, on the basis of greatest value to the Government (i.e., this means that the lowest total price/cost Offer may not be the most advantageous to the Government). The contractor shall provide all required labor and services, including uniformed guards and supervisors; managers; materials; supplies; accessories; uniforms; equipment (2-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive vehicles, revolvers, batons, etc.), licenses and permits; insurance; coordination; planning; reporting and all other support required to lawfully provide contract-required security guard services. No performance or bid bond is required. When awarded, the indefinite-delivery, requirements service contract resulting from this solicitation will have a single one-year base period and four one-year option periods, with an estimated five year life-of-the-contract value of about eighteen to nineteen million dollars.
