Pre-Solicitation Notice for Solicitation No. 01SI101464 is currently available. This requirement is set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. We will issue the solicitation on or about March 19, 2001. The estimated price range of the work is between $100,000 and $250,000 copies of solicitation will be provided in CD-ROM format at no charge for the first copy and $15.00 each (nonrefundable) for each additional copy requested. The principal components of the work include earthwork for and construction of: 1) concrete weir box structure including 10 hp submersible pump, 2) steel electrical platform with concrete pad, 3) lift station including concrete structure for pump, furnishing and installing self-cleaning screens, furnishing and placing 16-inch diameter suction line, and furnishing and installing 40 hp centrifugal pump, 4) construction of earthwork pad with gravel surfacing; furnishing and placing 15-inch diameter PVC irrigation pipe (PIP) and 6-inch diameter pipe; furnishing and placing timber piles; and repairing existing wetland outlet works and erosion damage to riverbank near existing outlet works.
