Description

The Naval Air Systems Commands intends to negotiate with Northrop Grumman Corporation, 609 South Oyster Bay Road, Bethpage, New York 11714, a firm fixed priced delivery order for the study of production capability and retrofitability of the main landing gear door on the E-2C Aircraft. This effort would include the design analysis, aircraft integration, drawings and fit checks. Northrop Grumman is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the E-2C Aircraft and the only source with the requisite knowledge, facilities, information and expertise to accomplish this effort. The Government does not own the requisite technical data package required to complete this effort. See Note No. 22 and 40 -- NAVAIR Synopsis No. 20020-01
