Description

Purpose of this project is to identify as Level III Heritage Resource Inventory previously uninventoried areas of the Buford/New Castle Road project. Surveys will cover the length of the road corridor, including both sides of the road. Identify, record, and evaluate for the National Register of Historic Places all historic and prehistoric properties within the inventory areas. Contractor shall review existing sources of information, conduct a field survey, prepare an inventory of located properties, analyze the results, and submit a report documenting completion. Solicitation requires a technical and cost proposal. Technical proposal will be evaluated in accordance with the following factors; 1) technical approach, 2) past performance, 3) experience, 4) cost. Award will be made to the contractor whose proposal is most advantageous to the govenment. Project is located in Garfield & Rio Blanco Counties, CO, White River National Forest. Estimated start work date of June 15, 2001. Contract time is 90 calendar days. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency.
