Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplement with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ); requested quotes and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Department of Commerce is soliciting additional discounts and at no additional charge value added services in addition to the government rates offered under the ADOBE Open Options Contractual License Program. A Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) will be established with references the GSA schedule that the successful offereor already holds. Pricing should reflect Level "E" pricing under the Contractual License Program (CLP. The BPA will be in effect for two years from date of award. In addition to discounts and additional discounts, Value Added Services, such as Software Asset Management or Technical Support will be considered in the evaluation of offers, and will influence the selection of the contract vendor. No funds are obligated by the BPA. Orders will be placed by individual Department of Commerce ordering offices, and funds will be obligated for each order. It is recognized that this CLP requires certain minimum purchases for the discounts to continue to be in effect. This is Request for Quotation Number SA1301-01-RQ-0016. APPLICABILITY OF FAR PROVISIONS: the following Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation and are incorporated by reference. FAR 52.212-I Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items. Offer must include a completed copy of FAR provisions 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their offer. FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Status or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Item, Conditions. FAR Provision 52.215-18, Facsimile Quotes. FORMAT OF Quotation: Quotes are due in this office no later than 3:00 PM on March 22, 2001.
