Description

Contractor to provide all labor, material, equipment, vehicles and transportation necessary to perform services per specification. To empty, clean and gas free bilges and tanks (various types) and to off load and dispose of liquids from various naval vessels within the Puget Sound area. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price indefinite quantity type contract with a guaranteed minimum of $25,000. The period of performance will be from May 01, 2001 through 30 April 2002. Two each one year option years may be included. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Note 1 applies. This solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in a Microsoft Officer '97 or Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (.pdf), and will reside on the World Wide Web server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the Navy electronic commerce page is http://www.neco.navy.mil Caution: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government will not maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of same.
