This is a synopsis for a commercial service. This announcement constitutes a synopsis only. A written solicitation will be available on this web site on or about 12 Mar 01. This procurement is restricted to 100% small business concerns with an annual income of 11.5 million or less. The solicitation document, which will be available on this web site, will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The NAICS code for this project is 235110. The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, materials and equipment, tools, transportation and other items necessary to perform Air Cooled Chiller Maintenance and Repair on chillers located at Kelly Field Annex. Contractor shall be responsible for performance of annual inspection, quarterly cleaning, and performing maintenance and repair in accordance with manufacturers recommendations. Contractor shall also provide emergency response service when verbally notified by the inspector. A listing of air-cooled chillers and building locations are listed in Technical Exhibit 1. Annual inspection shall be performed from April thru May 01 with a quarterly inspection in April. Chillers in building 2000 and 2012 are located within a secured area. The Government will provide escorts for the contractor performance of his/her work. The contractor shall provide an inspection and maintenance schedule, a minimum of seven calendar days before performance of work, to schedule escorts. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 & 252.232-7009. CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet or by calling 1-888-227-2423. The CCR number must be obtained before award can be made. The tentative due date for all quotes will be 16 March 01 by 4:00pm CST.
