Description

1.) NSN 6130-01-361-3342, Photovoltaic Charge Controllers, Qty 75 each. These controllers are used to convert lighthouses to solar power systems and must be constructed for use in a marine environment to operate between -10 degrees F to 125 degrees F, 100% humidity and in salt-air. It shall be designed to withstand the vibrations associated with transport by truck, boat and aircraft, and vibration associated with vortex shedding and ice acting on a structure. NOTE: NO DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS OR SCHEMATICS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY!! Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination, U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, Columbia, Maryland 21046. The Request for Quotation package and complete statement of work is to be requested via fax/in writing, no later than 12 March 2001.
