Description

Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Destron Fearing Corporation (DFC) for the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS). Purpose of proposed contract is to develop a PIT tag transceiver and antenna system for use in small streams. Work will also include developing a PIT tag transceiver and antenna coil system for large diameter pipe systems. DFC is modifying its basic transceiver model FS1001-A under both of these proposed efforts. These are proprietary products which only DFC can modify to meet objectives of the proposed contract.
