Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quotation number is DTCG89-01-Q-6AS322 and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-21. This acquisition is unrestricted. The NAICS Code is 334512 and SIC Code is 3822. The standard size is 500 employees. The contract type will be firm fixed price. The Government proposes to solicit quotes for the following item: Item 001 -- DIESEL ELECTRIC AIRCRAFT AIR CONDITIONER for all wide body aircraft. Power/Generator set with Perkins diesel power. Four (4) each hermetically sealed scroll compressors with R-22 refrigerant. Trailer mounted with 75' hose and aircraft adapter, painted white. One (1) service and parts manual. Newly manufactured with standard one year warranty. Specifications as follows: cooling capacity (ton) -- 60; airflow rate -- 1 hose only (ppm) up to 340; static pressure at unit outlets -- (" of water) up to 30; heating capacity (BTU/HR) -- 400,000; diesel engine generator (KW) -- 150; fuel capacity approximately (hours of operation) -- 8; completely self contained heating, cooling and ventilating unit that is totally enclosed in an aluminum housing which can be either truck, trailer or skid mounted. Shipping and delivery: The contractor shall deliver to Coast Guard Air Station Sacramento, 6037 Price Avenue, McClellan, CA 95652-2400 before the Government's desired delivery date. The latest acceptable delivery would be before 06/15/01. Crates/packages shall be marked with the purchase order number, name and address of the contractor on the outside for identifying purposes. Award will be based on the following criteria: lowest price of item that meets or exceeds specifications.
