Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA intends to procure for production and duplication of its environmental education television program "Waterways" for the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary (FKNMS). The contractor will produce a television program that: is 26 minutes in length, uses a news magazine format that contains a minimum of three segments. Each segment shall have a topic-specific introduction presented by the agency staff, features a preview of the topics to be covered in each show before the title sequence, includes approved title sequence and closing credits. The contractor also will arrange for duplication of each episode. There is a production anticipation of 12-18 new episode per federal fiscal year contingent on available funding. All filming must be done using Betacam SP, digital video, or equivalent or higher technology. Contractor will perform all editing, using story lines developed by Agency staff. Contractor will produce graphics, maps, and labels as needed to develop and support the story line and use music as appropriate. The period of performance is from 4/1/01 till 09/30/01. Subsequent years are subject to availability of funds. This service is being procured under FAR Part 3, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is a small business set aside.
