Description

The Alaska Air National Guard in Anchorage, Alaska is seeking sources for a Family Support Readiness and Support Services Manager. Contractor will be responsible for coordinating information for seminars, conferences and orientation workshops for family members and volunteers. Duties include providing awareness for family program, family readiness care plans, and quality of life issues. The contractor must have a minimum of two years experience directly performing volunteer work as a volunteer worker/supervisor, trainee or management of volunteers. Must be familiar with local community. Prior experience working with military members, family members and military organization structure is desirable. Estimated period of performance is base year from 01 June 2001 through 31 May 2002 with 4 additional option periods. Interested parties may fax written request to (907) 249-1614.
