Description

The solicited item is an Aircraft Door, NSN 1560-00-295-3417, McDonnell Douglas P/N 68A451500-2001. McDonnell Douglas is the only approved source. Intent to award against existing BOA with McDonnell Douglas Corp. This is a flight safety/critical application item. Any manufacturer other than McDonnell Douglas must submit a complete source approval request package for evaluation in order to be considered for award (see FAR 52.217-9002 and 52.217-9G04). DSCR does not have an approved technical data package available for this NSN. Origin inspection required. FOB is origin; ship to New Cumberland, PA. Qty: 27 each. A Letter Solicitation will be issued. Anticipated award date is May 3, 2001. Numbered Note 26 applies.
