Description

This procurement is anticipated to be a sole source purchase with Vaisala, Inc., Sunnyvale, CA. The items to be procured are (5) Ceilometers, 450-c, 120Vw/conn Model 450-0130; (5) Cable, 450B/C to 555B, RS-232 15 ft. conduit, Model 450-309X-1; and (5) Grounding Kits, lightning Model 450-7016. These items and model numbers are the only ones compatable with the current Remote Automated Weather Sensors orignially purchased from Vaisala, Inc. Request for Sources will close on or about 15 Mar 01. Potential vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award. (See Internet site: https://ccr.dlsc.dla.mil). All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS Code 334519 applies.
