Description

The Carderock Division Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Big Sky Laser Technologies. The contractor will supply a Model CFR PIV 205-15 Pulsed Nd:YAG laser and Combining Assembly, 532nm, 205mJ per pulse x2, 15 hz. The laser heads and beam combining assembly tpgether do not exceed 20"x10"x5", minimum energy content per pulse at 532nm for each laser is no less than 200 mJ, each laser head will be operable up to 15hz continuously, independent of each other, pulse duration for each laser head is 9-50 nanoseconds (FWHM) long, near field profile of the beam is uniform and multimodal. The entire system, including laser heads and power supply, does not exceed 250 pounds.Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement under the authority of FAR 6.302.1.
