Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-01-Q-0131 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23 and DCN 20001213. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 333319 and the size standard is 750 employees. This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 Tester Workstation, p/n P2-1496, qty 1 each; CLIN 0002 Analog Card, p/n P2A, qty 1 each; CLIN 0003 V/I Signature Analysis Option, p/n P2V3, qty 3 each; CLIN 0004 48 Channel MUX (Piggy Back), p/n P2PMX-48, qty 2 each; CLIN 0005 96 Channel MUX (Independent), p/n P2SCH-96, qty 2 each; CLIN 0006 System Wired W/PXI Chassis Installed, p/n P2-PXI, qty 1 each; CLIN 0007 Schematic Software, p/n P2-SGS, 1 each. Delivery is required F.o.B. NSWC Crane, IN 47522 within 45 days after award. The Statement of Work can be downloaded at www.crane.navy.mil/Supply/fs_acq.htm. Final inspection will be at destination. This requirement is being solicited on a Brand Name Only basis for products manufactured by Diagnosys, Inc., 102 Park Place Blvd., Bldg. B, Suite 1, Kissimmee, FL 34741 because these are the only products that meet the exact specifications to interface with existing equipment. There is insufficient time to procure an alternative replacement and perform the necessary engineering evaluation and verification of standard maintenance procedures, APL's, and technical documentation written specific to this special test equipment that is in place throughout the Trident Submarine Community. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. The offeror shall provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, Contractor Establishment Code and Tax Identification Number. To be eligible for award you must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR). If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
