Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue solicitation number N00024-01-R-8505 for the procurement of ship repair, maintenance, and alterations of the USS CHOSIN (CG 65). Performance of this effort will be in the ship's homeport area of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii at the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard (PHNS). This acquisition is for an Extended Drydock Selected Repair Availability (EDSRA) for the USS CHOSIN (CG 65) homeported in Pearl Harbor, HI. The performance period is approximately 9 months in duration starting November 7, 2001. This acquisition will be issued under full and open competition procedures. A fixed-price contract is contemplated. Offerors interested in obtaining a copy of the Request For Proposal (RFP) and being added to a list of bidders for this procurement submit requests in writing to Ms. Sarah R. Harrison (NAVSEA 0285H) by either U.S. mail, facsimile (703) 602-3101 or e-mail to harrisonsr@navsea.navy.mil. The anticipated issue date for this solicitation is April 2, 2001. The solicitation will be posted electronically on the Internet at http://www.contracts.hq.navsea.navy.mil/ where it can be found under its solicitation number and downloaded. A limited number of paper copies will be available upon request. The due date for receipt of proposals will be on or before May 24, 2001.
