Maintenance for Exide Electronics 8000 KVA Redunant Solid State UPS System POC Dorothy I. Wilson (410) 965-8083. Sources Sought Synopsis -- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to procure a new maintenance agreement for the Exide Electronics 8000 KVA Uninterruptible Power Supply System. Maintenance is required on four (4) 2000 KVA Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Systems, associated microprocessor-based self diagnostic package (Data Trax), four (4) 192 battery sub-systems, one (1) Exide Master Control Console, two (2) Hot Tie Systems and all related breakers, switchgear and associated equipment located at the National Computer Center, Baltimore, MD. Powerware Corporation (formerly Exide) is the current incumbent contractor providing UPS maintenance, repair, testing and cleaning of this equipment. SSA is seeking sources that have the requisite maintenance experience and are factory certified technicians for this equipment. Any interested parties possessing this experience must respond within 15 days of this announcement to the Social Security Administration, Office of Acquisition and Grants, Attention: Dorothy Wilson, 1710 Gwynn Oak Avenue, Baltimore, MD. Response to this announcement must provide full and complete information regarding past or current similar experience in furnishing maintenance for this equipment at other locations. Information furnished shall, at a minimum, provide full details of customer name, address, point of contact, telephone number, and information on specific equipment maintained.
