THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. ONE (1) TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR HEADHUNTER SERVICES FOR NASA-AMES RESEARCH CENTER. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is clarify the following items: Statement of Work revision: Background/Objective: NASA-Ames has an urgent requirement to increase its diversity of its employee population. General recruitment services are requested with a preferred focus on the following groups: African-American, Native American, and Hispanic American. Recruitment will be performed in targeted fields of Science, Math, Engineering, and Computers. This is a new requirement and historical data does not exist. The Government does not have available an estimate for the number of placements to be required for each performance period. Requirements will be based upon vacancies as they are identified and announced on the NASA ARC website: http://hr.arc.nasa.gov/vacancies.html Period of Performance: 01 Base Period: Date of Award through 10/31/01 1 Job Services not to exceed $45,000.00 02 Option Period: 11/01/01 through 10/31/02 1 Job Services not to exceed $90,000.00 Quotations for the items(s) described above are due by 2:00 PM PST on March 14, 2001, may be mailed or faxed to NASA-Ames Research Center, Acquisition Division, Attn: Alma Garcia, M/S 241-1, Moffett Field, CA 94035-1000. Evaluation Criteria: Delete and replace as follows: Selection and award will be based upon overall best price, contractors terms and conditions, and past performance. Contractor to provide as part of the quotation submittal a listing of three (3) references, to include name of customer (firm or agency), point of contact, telephone number, email address, and reference number if applicable. The past performance will include an oral discussion (via telephone) addressing the following topics: technical approach for identifying targeted groups and placement history. Date and time will be provided at a later date. The following clause is added to those identified in the basic synopsis. NFS 1852.204-74, Central Contractor Registration Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing no later than March 9, 2001. As noted in the basic synopsis all responses must include the following to be considered for award: -- SF 1449 Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items -- Contractors Terms and Conditions -- Past Performance References -- Reps and Certs FAR Part 52.212-3 Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS.
