Synopsis number 485207, dated August 11, 2000 as amended by number 493082, dated September 5, 2000; by number 500939 dated September 26, 2000; and by number 50B7G5 dated January 24, 2001 for solicitation number DAAH01-00-R-0363 was cancelled on March 7, 2001 by amendment number 50F566 and will be reissued on or about March 13, 2001 for the effort described in the CBD notices restated/revised as follows: This action is 100% Small Business Set Aside. Solicitation will be released on or about March 13, 2001. USAMCOM proposes to purchase one full up operational SPLAV 300 mm BM 9A52 (12 Round) SMERCH Multiple Rocket System, inclusive of one MAZ-543M 98 x 8) Truck, english operational/maintenance manuals. Option provisions for 1 to 5 full up operational SPLAV 300 mm BM 9A52 (12 Round) SMERCH Multiple Rocket Systems, 1 to 10 Surrogate SPLAV 300 mm BM 9A52 (12 Round) Multiple Rocket Systems, 1 to 10 MAZ-543M (8 x 8) Trucks are included, initial spares and follow-on spares. Offerors should be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and should possess a valid Contractor and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code). Offerors should be prepared to display proof of: A current, or recent, export license from a former Soviet Block Country (aka Confederation of Independent States (CIS)), experience importing and exporting through CIS countries, ability to fabricate (or have fabricated) the SPLAV/SMERCH surrogates, acceptable past performance, and adequate business resources to assure performance.
