Description

Partial flow diesel particulate measurement system in accordance with ISO 8178. Includes all equipment, installation, training and travel costs. One year warranty on equipment to be provided. This system is to be installed at the Mine Safety and Health Administration's Approval and Certification Center located at Triadelphia, WV 26059. System to be designed to collect DPM samples on a filter paper emitted from a diesel engine operated in a dynamometer test cell. The system will be used to run in-house audit tests on diesel engines in conformance with the regulations specified in Title 30, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Part 7, Subparts A and E. The DPM system will also be used in conjunction with aftertreatment control evaluations, engine emission field complaints, and other activities involving diesel emissions.
