Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only written solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. DAHA25-01-Q-0008 is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23. This solicitation has been set-aside 100% for small businesses. The SIC Code is 5045. CLIN 0001: Intel PIII 800MHz Box Processor that must include heatsink and cooling fan and must be NT 4.0 Compatible. Neither Celeron or Athalon are acceptible. Also must be PC100/133 Compliant. Quantity of 475 each. Delivery to Lincoln, Nebraska, CRRA, 2960 North Park Road, Lincoln, NE 68524. Delivery 14 DARO. The CRRA department at (402)471-7302 will handle all technical calls concerning the box processors. The following FARS are applicable to this request. They are: 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items; 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order-Commercial Items; 52.247-34, F.O.B. Destination; and 252-204-7004, Required Central Contractors Registration. Quotes are due back in our office no later than 11:59 p.m. (CST)on March 23, 2001. Any quotes received after that time frams will not be accepted for any reason. Please note that all pricing is to be destination pricing which means any shipping costs must be included in the price of each item and not separately. If shipping is listed separately, the quote will be considered non-responsive. The following information is mandatory on the quote that is sent to us: The correct RFQ number, vendor legal name (same as is appears in the Central Contractors Registration), Duns and Bradstreet Number, Cage Code, Tax ID Number, Business Size (with any special designation). If your quote does not contain all of the mandatory information it will be considered non-responsive. In order to receive the award the vendor must already be registered with the Central Contractors Registration. The award will be made March 26, 2001 and the vendor receiving the award will be faxed the award.
