Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only written solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. DAHA25-01-Q-0007 is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23. This solicitation has been set aside 100% for small businesses. The SIC Code is 5045. CLIN 0001: 40X UltraPlex Wide 68pin Internal SCSI CDRom or better. Must fit into standard 5.25 bay and must be Solaris 2.6 compatible. Quantity of 150 each. Delivery to Lincoln, NE, CRRA, 2960 North Park Road, Lincoln, NE 68524. Delivery 14 DARO. The CRRA department at (402) 471-7302 will handle all technical calls concerning the CDRoms. The following FARS are application to this combined synopsis/solicitation but need not be sent back with the quote. The FARS are: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; 52.247-34, F.O.B Destination; and 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractors Registration. Quotes are due back in our office no later than 11:59 p.m. Central Standard Time on March 26, 2001. Any quotes received after that time frame will not be accepted for any reason. Please note that all pricing is to be destination pricing which means any shipping costs must be included in the price of each item and not separately. If shipping is listed separately, the quote will be considered non-responsive. The following information is mandatory on the quote that is sent to us. This information is: The correct RFQ number, vendor legal name (sme as it appears on the Central Contractors Registration), Dun and Bradstreet number, Cage Code, Tax ID Number, business size (with any special designation such as 8(a), disadvantaged, woman-owned). If your quote fails to provide alll of this mandatory information, it will be considered non-responsive. The vendor has to be already registered with the Central Contractor's Registration in order to receive this award. If you are not already registered you will not receive the award. Your quotations may be faxed to Sandy Leach at (402) 471-7106 or e-mailed to sandra.leach@ne.ngb.army.mil no later than 11:59 p.m. (CST)on March 23, 2001. The award will be made on March 26, 2001 and the vendor receiving the award will receive it by fax.
