The notice solicits grant proposals for the FY 2001 Saltonstall-Kennedy (S-K) Grant Program and was published in the Federal Register on March 7, 2001. The deadline for submitting a grant application is May 7, 2001. We must receive your application by close of business at one of the offices listed in section I. Application Addresses, page 13704 of the Federal Register. The S-K Grant Program is a competitive program administered by the National Marine Fisheries Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce. The program provides financial assistance (grants and cooperative agreements) for research and development projects to benefit the U.S. fishing industry.
