Description

A/E shall provide all services for design of Burial Area Development at the Lebanon National Cemetery, Lebanon, Kentucky. Project will include: topographic, boundary, and location surveys; new main entrance; permanent committal service shelter with permanent bier, closet, benches, fan, lighting and speaker/taps system; new pre-engineered maintenance building with 2 bays of equipment storage; burial expansion areas for approximately 4500 gravesites; roads, paths, paving; American and POW flagpole; replacement of fueltank/dispenser; sewer system modifications; and other work. Design is to include preparation of complete specifications, drawings, and construction cost estimates per lates VA specifications, drawings, and construction cost estimates per latest VA requirements. VA requirements are found at the web site http://www.va.gov/facmgt/standard/nca_idx.asp and will be further identified during the negotiation process. All CADD data shall be supplied in the latest version of Intergraph Corp MicroStation CADD software. Estimated construction cost range between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. No construction contract may be awarded to the firm that designs the project. A/E firm must be located within 100 mile radius of work site to be considered. NAICS code is 541310 with a small business size standard of $4 Million. This is an unrestricted procurement and is subject to availability of funding. Interested A/E's must submit SF 254 & SF 255, in duplicate, to this office on or before 3:30 PM (EST) on April 9, 2001; see CBD numbered note #24.
