Description

DESC: To provide all labor, tools, equipment, and transportation necessary to perform complete maintenance and operation of the red swithc operations. It is necessary to perform full uninterrupted red switch secure and non-secure telephone service as defined in the Performance work statement. The contract period will be for a total of 5 years (basic year plus 4 option years) with an anticipated start date of 01 Oct 2001. Work includes day-to-day fault management operation of network switches, transmission facilities, and related equipment at the individual Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) switching site. This solicitation, when issued, will be IAW OMB A-76 and will not result in a contract if the government performance is determined to be more advantageous. The applicable NAICS (North American Industry Classification code) is 81121 and the size business standard is considered to be $5000,000.00. This project will be opened up to large and small businesses. Women owned businesses are strongly encouraged to participate in this procurement. Top secret clearance is required.
