April 3, 2001 -- 12:30 to 5:00 PM Morris Hansen Auditorium, Federal Building #3 Suitland, Maryland The Geography Division and the Acquisition Division, U.S. Census, invite commercial firms, academia organizations, and government agencies with an interest in and/or capability to improve the accuracy of TIGER data, to join Census Bureau staff for an interactive session to discuss requirements. Meet with the leaders of Geography Division and understand the mission and goals of MAF/TIGER Modernization. Provide input to assist in finalizing requirements development. Understand the planned open procurement process. The agenda will be posted to the web page 5 days prior to the meeting. Interested parties must provide organization/team name and expected number of attendees by March 28, 2001 via e-mail to tigermodernization@geo.census.gov. Consider guest parking a challenge for this discussion group and take the recently opened Green Line Metro to the Suitland metro stop. Take the escalator to the 2nd floor, past the parking lot complex, to gate number 8 near Federal Building #3. Use guest entrance at FB #3, through the metal detector.
