Description

Contractor shall furnish all tools, fuels, lubricants, materials, equipment, labor, and supervision necessary to perform ground maintenance for Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Road, Route 619, Triangle, VA 22172. The contract covers the period April 16, 2001 (or date of contract award, whichever is later) through September 30, 2001 (base period), with two 1-year options to extend the term of the contract September 30, 2003. Duties include mowing, trimming around headstones with a gas-powered weed-eater and edge the road curbs of the cemetery grounds in accordance with the drawings and specifications. This acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 561730 and a size standard of $5 Million is applicable to this acquisition. All responsible small business concerns may submit a bid. Requests for hard copies of the solicitation must be in writing to Mr. James C. Jackson and accompanied by a check or money order in the amount of Five Dollars ($5.00) (non-refundable) made payable to "U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs." No telephone requests will be accepted. Hard copy solicitations will be mailed on or about March 13, 2001.
