Description

National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) Projects STL 0-1-0109, Replace Flooring and Paint, Building 2 and STL 01-0105, Paint Classified Waste Destructor (Scaffolding), Building 36, Section D at our facility located at 3200 South Second Street, St. Louis, MO. Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, and equipment, and performing all work in strict accordance with those specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof, for the projects to remove gym equipment, replace flooring, base cove, ceiling tiles and paint walls and doors in building 2 and to remove the rust, prime and paint scaffolding surrounding the classified waste destructor in building 36. The two projects will be separately priced. Project STL01-0105 shall be completed first with a 30 day performance period, however the actual construction time shall not exceed 5 continuous days. Project STL01-0109 shall be completed concurrent with a 60 day period of performance period, however, the actual construction time shall not exceed nine consecutive days. Liquidated damages will apply to STL 01-0109. Work shall be accomplished by a general contractor. All work is to be accomplished in strict accordance with applicable NIMA, EPA, NFPA and OSHA requirements. Work on project STL 01-0109 may be performed after 1900 hours on a Friday and must be completed no longer than nine days later. Work on Project STL 01-0105 may be peformed between 0700 and 1530 Monday through Friday. The approximate cost of the projects is between $25,000 and $100,000. The facility is located at 3200 South Second Street. The solicitation document will be available from NIMA at no charge. This solicitation will not be made available through electronic data interchange. The solicitation will include all plans and specifications required for submmitting a proposal. A site visit will be scheduled and the date and time will be included in the solicitation. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about 23 March 2001. This solicitation is 100% set aside for HUBZone Contractors. It will be competed among two HUBZone Contractors. NAICS: 233320, $27.5 Million. All proposals must be submitted in writing.
