Description

Lolo Pass Visitor Center and Rest Area Rehab was previously advertised as RFP R1-04-00-72. If you have already requested a package, you need not request again. The solicitation is not currently available. Any further reference to the project will be Solicitation No. RFP R1-04-01-19. A preproposal meeting and site visit was held October 10, 2000. A second preproposal meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 12, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. (PST) at the Powell Ranger Station located on Idaho State Highway 12 at Milepost 163. Interested parties are encouraged to attend. Lochsa Ranger District, Clearwater National Forest, Idaho County, Idaho. This project includes reconstruction of approximately 1/4 miles of U.S. Highway 12, construction of three parking areas, construction of a log visitor center and warming shelter, installation of water, electric, sewer and telephone service, wetland restoration, site landscaping, trail construction and relocation of four structures. Estimated price range between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Estimated start work June of 2001 with a completion date of October 1, 2002. See Note 26
