Description

The project consists of dredging approximately 700,000 cu.m. of material from the harbor with beach and near-shore placement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 23499, All Other Heavy Construction, Except Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities, $17.0 M average annual gross revenue for the last three (3) fiscal years. Estimated cost range of the project is $1,000,000.00 -- $5,000,000.00. The project will provide plans and specs using CD-ROM only; hard copies will not be available. The CD-ROM will be available on or about 31 May 2001 at no charge. Because a limited number of CD-ROMS will be reproduced, copies are limited to one CD-ROM per firm. The Los Angeles District subcontracting goals are specific percentages of the contractor's total planned subcontract amount. The goals are as follows: 62% with small business, 10% with small disadvantaged business, and 5% with woman owned small business and 1.5% with hub zone small business.
