Synopsis for paint services are required for award of a Firm-Fixed price type contract for preparation of a portion of the exposed metal surface and painting the new Air Force (AF) logo on the existing water tower, facility 616, 202 Thornell Avenue at Langley AFB, Virginia. The NAICS Code is 54189. The scope of the work also includes, but not limited to, fabrication of a template of the AF logo, removal of existing water gauge and making repairs to the existing tank where water gauge is removed in accordance with governing regulations. All plant, labor, equipment and material necessary to paint new Air Force logo on transformer switching station. Location of the firm must be within 50 miles of Langley AFB, Virginia. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This project will be unrestricted. The solicitation number is F44600-01-T-0007. The solicitation will be issued by the close of business 12 March 2001. Quotes are due by 26 March 2001.
