This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23. This procurement is being solicited on a restricted basis. Small businesses may submit offers The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 2951and the small business size is 500 Employees. Line Item 0001 Asphalt, Type D, Quantity 1,667 Tons, Line Item 0002 Bin 10 Base Course Quantity 1000 Tons. Desired delivery start date to Dyess AFB, TX is 19 Mar 2001. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors _ Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Only written offers will be accepted. Bidders must specify business size, cage code, duns number, and tax-ID number in their quote. You must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to bid on this solicitation.
