- Description
- The Government is in the process of developing an acquisition strategy with the intent of entering into long-term contracts for the purchase of spare and repair parts in support of commercial off-the-shelf targetry items/systems currently fielded on Government training ranges worldwide. It is envisioned that a separate catalog-type requirements contract will be developed under Alpha contracting procedures with each member of the targetry business base currently having commercial targetry items/systems fielded. These contracts will include only contractor-unique (i.e. proprietary) spare and repair parts for those commercial targetry items and systems already fielded. Sources and information are being sought to ensure that all commercial sources of fielded targetry are included in this effort to provide "one-stop-shopping" for spare and repair parts to the ranges. All potential sources are invited to submit a statement of interest within 20 days of the publication of this notice. Interested sources are requested to provide information concerning small business status, and to include information on their commercial products already fielded, including contract/order number(s) and identification of the material and location(s) fielded, and identification of names and phone numbers of Government contracting and/or technical personnel with knowledge of these contracts/order/products. Supporting data and documentation may include copies of contracts or orders and commercial literature describing the material fielded. It is further requested that all information be submitted in duplicate to facilitate the market survey evaluation process.
