Description

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Center for Environmental Assessment, intends to award a sole source procurement to Tetra Tech, Incorporated, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures via FAR Part 13. Tetra Tech, Inc. shall provide assistance in responding to peer review comments on five documents that the contractor assisted in preparing. The contractor shall also further improve the documents by conducting modelling to reduce uncertainty in the Clinch and Powell watershed. By helping to respond to peer review comments, the contractor shall supplement, improve, and help complete for publication the following papers: (1) The EPA report, "Clinch and Powell Valley Watershed Ecological Risk Assessment" -- peer review completed, (2) Identifying aquatic resource management strategies using a watershed ecological risk assessment framework -- peer review completed by "Environmental Science and Technology", (3) Watershed ecological risk assessment: The Clinch and Powell Valley watershed ecological risk assessment -- under review by Proceedings from the Workshop for Integrated Decision Making for Environmental Management, (4) Applying ecological risk principles to watershed management -- under review by "Environmental Management", (5) Diagnosing causes of native species decline -- submitted to editor of special publication of "Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry".
