FIESTACROW 01 will be held April 23-26, 2001 in San Antonio, Texas. The theme of the symposium is "IO/IW in a Changing World". It will continue the tradition of a leading edge technical program providing the attendees with a challenging look at the IO/IW in military operations and future conflicts. The symposium will feature unclassified presentations on the impact to IO/IW by the global economy and the constantly improving infrastructure. Major General John Thomas, Commander US Army Intelligence Center and Fort Huachuca will give the keynote address. Mr. David Lehman, Chief Technical Officer for MITRE, will address technology issues facing the IO/IW world and Colonel Cecil Jones, AF/XOIE, will discuss Electronic Warfare (EW) requirements. The Technical program will also include sessions on "EW in the World Today" and "Information Protection and the Technology Explosion." In conjunction with the technical sessions, there will be tutorials on "Information Operations" by Dr. Fred Levin, Chairman of Information Warfare at the Naval Postgraduate School. Other tutorials will include "Psychological Operations" and "Public Key Infrastructure". Over 120 booth spaces have been sold to contractors, the Services and government organizations to exhibit and display their emerging technologies. The exhibits area will be open Monday, April 23rd, 4:00 PM -- 7:00 PM, Tuesday, April 24th, 12:00 PM -- 8:00 PM, and Wednesday, April 25th, 2:00 PM -- 5:00 PM. Following FIESTACROW, Air Intelligence Agency will host an Industry Day on 26 April. FIESTACROW 01 technical program, as usual, is held in conjunction with the San Antonio Fiesta.
